国际油田服务公司Expro近日与印度石油天然气有限公司（ONGC）签署了新的合同。

这份为期三年的合同价值超过1700万美元，根据合同，在ONGC资金支持下Expro将在印度西部和东部地区（包括孟买近海、Rajamundry和Krishna Godavari流域）进行作业。

该合同将通过Expro的15K和10K地面试井程序来进行高压高温（HPHT）测试和传统井测试，并将完全由Expro国产设施进行技术支持。

International oilfield services company, Expro, has been awarded new contracts from India's Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC).

Worth in excess of $17 million over three years, the contracts will see Expro work on ONGC's assets throughout western and eastern areas of India, including offshore Mumbai, onshore Rajamundry and the Krishna Godavari basin.

The contracts comprise of Expro's 15K and 10K surface well testing packages for high pressure high temperature (HPHT) and conventional wells, and will be fully supported from Expro's facilities in-country.

Two sets of 15K surface well test packages will be delivered for 10 offshore and 22 onshore wells in eastern India. Four sets of 10K packages will be delivered offshore Mumbai and includes the provision of a Well Test Supervisor and Operator on a call-out basis.

The 10K packages will be used for production testing of exploratory wells, and testing, flow back and measurement of worked-over and platform wells. The onshore package will be deployed for the testing of exploratory and completed wells onshore at Rajahmundry.

Highlands Natural Resources, the London-listed natural resources company, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a farm-in agreement in Arapahoe County, Colorado with Renegade Oil & Gas Company, LLC which will allow it to drill up to six horizontal wells in acreage prospective for the Niobrara shale formation.

The transaction entails a US$500,000 total payment from Highlands to Renegade, comprising an initial payment of US$250,000 for the right to drill the first two wells and a second payment, on commencement of drilling of the third well, of US$250,000 for the following four wells. In all wells drilled by Highlands on the farm-in acreage, Highlands will retain a 100% working interest (full responsibility for drilling and operating costs) and will receive 80% of revenue generated by these wells. The deductions from revenue comprise the royalty interests due to the State of Colorado and to Renegade under the farm-in agreement.

In parallel with negotiating the farm-in agreement, Highlands has also commenced discussions with several industry partners regarding the joint financing and development of the farm-in acreage. These discussions are now at an advanced stage such that Highlands believes that it can commence drilling by the end of 2016. Highlands is not obliged to drill any well unless and until it has secured, on terms satisfactory to it, third party financing to fund the drilling of such well and all associated testing, completion and other activities and expenses. A further announcement will be made in due course.

The farm-in acreage is bordered by ConocoPhillips leases that have been delineated by producing horizontal wells ranking among the most productive in the Denver Julesburg Basin. The presence of nearby production provides important data for analysing and projecting the productivity of the wells planned in the farm-in acreage. Specifically, Highlands is able to use Conoco's well designs, completion methods and decline curves as analogs for its planned farm-in wells. Conoco has drilled numerous productive wells in its leases north of the farm-in acreage, including wells drilled within the township of the farm-in agreement as well as adjacent townships. The majority of Conoco's nearby horizontal wells with optimized completion techniques produced between 50,000 to 100,000 barrels of oil in their first six months of production.

Ikon Science, a software and service provider to the oil and gas industry, is in the process of running various initiatives under a 'Geo's between Jobs' program aimed to support industry professionals affected during the downturn in the current market. In late June 2016, Ikon Science Americas invited the first group of twelve winners into the Ikon office for RokDoc training. Following the class, they will have free use of a three-month license, with data and support. It is intended that they learn new rock physics skills and broaden their CVs.

Michael Hines, Senior Geoscientist and Proven Oil Finder from Houston, was one of the winning applicants. In a blog post on LinkedIn Michael wrote 'Ikon Science really should be congratulated for running a 3-day geophysical software training course for 'Geos between Jobs' from their Houston office.

The excellent RokDoc modeling package training was for 12 geoscientists in transition. It covered rock physics log analysis, QI, Gassmann substitution, synthetics, wavelet estimation, tuning models and 2D model building.'

In the interest of delivering this opportunity to more geoscientists, Ikon Science has set August dates for the next courses in Houston (now full), London, and Malaysia. Ideally, this initiative will make it to the Middle East, Australia, Asia and beyond: Ikon Science would be open to hearing from organizations that would be able to donate training facilities (room with computers) to the cause.

A further part of the 'Geos between Jobs' program includes an open invitation for job seekers to in-house Ikon Science client events. Ikon Science staff share expertise and showcase technology, workflows or ideas. Geo's between Jobs can use the opportunity to network, learn new things and of course enjoy Ikon's famous hospitality.

The final offering under the initiative is to ensure that no seats are left empty on the company's public software or theory courses. Viking Supply Ships (VSS) has received an early termination notice of the contract for the Ice-class 1A AHTS Njord Viking from Eni Norge in the Barents Sea.

Besides working for Eni Norge, the 2011-built vessel has also been part of the extended towing -preparedness in the area on behalf of the Norwegian Coastal Administration, VSS said on Monday. The vessel was according to the contract with Eni Norge firm until the end of 2016, with optional periods of 2 x 6 months thereafter. To remind, Eni Norge extended the deal for the Njord Viking in July 2015. The initial firm period lasted until July 29, 2015.

According to the contract, VSS will be entitled to a termination fee of approximately $13300/day for the remainder of the firm period. The termination represents a loss of income during the remaining firm period of the contract of $3.3 million in 2016. VSS said the company will further off-set this loss by marketing the vessel in the North Sea spot market, while also searching for alternative contracts for the vessel.

Malaysian oilfield services company SapuraKencana has been awarded a contract in the Gulf of Mexico’s Bay of Campeche by Mexican oil company Pemex. The contract, worth approximately $113 million, was awarded to SapuraKencana’s wholly-owned subsidiary company, SapuraKencana Mexicana S.A.P.I. de C.V.

It is for the procurement and construction of a 36” X 18 KM sour gas pipeline (KMZ – 76) from Platform E – KU – A2 to Platform CA – AJ – 1(J4) in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche. According to SapuraKencana, the contract scope of work comprises of transportation and installation of pipelines, crossings, top side modifications and subsea works, including procurement and project management. The oilfield services company also said that works are scheduled to start in July 2016 and last until March 2017.

The world’s largest crude oil refinery, on the western coast of the Indian state of Gujarat, is spread over 3,035 hectares and has the capacity to process 1.2 million barrels per day (bpd).

Through this sprawling network of pipes and metal structures, crude oil – much of which comes from the Middle East – is refined into products such as petrol, diesel, kerosene used for cooking, jet fuel for airplanes and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), a household and industrial fuel. These products are then distributed across the country and exported globally.

India has rapidly expanded its capacity to refine crude oil over the past decade and the country has become a major centre for petroleum refining. And it is continuing to grow the sector.

There are plans to build a vast refinery in the state of Maharashtra, to be developed by the India Oil Corporation, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation and Bharat Petroleum, all state-controlled refiners. With a planned capacity of 1.2 million bpd, it is set to rival the Reliance plant. The first phase, which will have the capacity to refine 800,000 bpd, is projected to cost more than 1 trillion rupees (Dh54.6bn).

 ExxonMobil Cepu Limited (EMCL) said oil production of Banyuurip oil field in Block Cepu, East Java could range from 180,000 to 185,000 barrels on average per day in the last two months.

"Oil production of Banyuurip Cepu field can range from 180 thousand to 185 thousand barrels per day and it increases gradually," said Operations Division of Banyuurip field of Block Cepu Awang Lazuardi to Pertamina Upstream Director Syamsu Alam, who visited Banyuurip field on Friday.

When the start of production in January, he added, the amount of oil production in the Banyuurip field only reached 135,000 barrels per day.

"But then gradually it increased until it could be stable and now it ranges from 180,000 to 185,000 barrels per day in the last month," he asserted.

According to him, oil production ranges from 180,000 to 185,000 barrels per day and it is sent through the distribution pipes along 94 kilometers to ship to Crow Rimang shelter in the middle of the sea in Tuban.

Contango Oil & Gas Company (NYSE MKT:MCF) announced today that it has entered into an agreement with a private oil and gas company to purchase one-half of seller's interests in approximately 12,100 gross undeveloped acres (~5,000 net acres) for up to $25 million in the Southern Delaware Basin of Texas, currently one of the most active and economically attractive oil and gas basins in the United States.

The purchase price is comprised of $10 million in cash at initial closing and $10 million in carried well costs expected to be paid over the next 14 months. Certain additional contingent payments upon success would increase total consideration to $25 million. The purchase is subject to finalization of title due diligence and customary closing conditions and adjustments with an initial closing expected later this month.

Torchlight Energy Resources, Inc. (NASDAQ: TRCH), today announced that the Flying B Ranch #1 has been drilled to a total depth of 6470 feet. The well has been logged and 25 sidewall cores were taken from the different pay zones. The well has been cased and cemented in preparation for a near term fracing and completion.

'We are encouraged with the initial scientific data from the logs as it correlates very well with the offset Davis Bros. Harris Est. #1 well from a pay, porosity, and resistivity perspective,' stated Rich Masterson, Torchlight's Consulting Geologist. 'In addition, we have some preliminary data from the CMR and Lithoscanner log analysis and as expected, the results are showing that the rock qualities in this Flying B Ranch #1 well are very similar to the wells drilled in the Wolfberry formation (a name coined to indicate the Permian Basin Shale play including comingled production from the Wolfcamp, Dean and Spraberry formations). We encountered over 400 feet of pay zone and have identified at least two horizontal targets. The Wolfcamp A&B, the Dean, the Leonard, and the Spraberry formations are all present and showing as potential completion targets. The zones have low clay content and high organic content.'

'Next steps are to evaluate all of the scientific data gathered and determine which intervals to frac and the best frac design to stimulate optimal production results,' stated Will McAndrew III, COO of Torchlight. 'We are excited to begin this phase of our Hazel Project development. Once we have established oil production, we will plan additional vertical wells for control purposes and a horizontal development plan.'

The pair entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU), agreeing to combine their resources and expertise, on July 20, 2016. Announcing the MoU, Petra said in a Bursa Malaysia filing on Friday that this cooperation will benefit both companies.

According to the memorandum, Petra’s wholly-owned subsidiary company, Petra Resources, will cooperate with MMC Oil & Gas, a provider of engineering design services to the oil & gas industry, in respect of design and detailed engineering scope for potential projects for one year.

The agreement is effective from July 20, 2016 and expiring on July 19, 2017. An extension option may be mutually agreed between the two companies, the company added. Petra noted that there is no contract value stated as this MoU serves as an intention of the parties to ‘cooperate and collaborate for bidding purposes’.

Atlas Professionals’ offshore management and quality control (QC) team has secured a frame agreement with Nord Stream 2, an international, six-company consortium constructing a natural gas pipeline from Northern Russia.

The Nord Stream 2 project envisages construction of two offshore pipelines from Russia to Germany through the Baltic Sea with the aggregate annual capacity of 55 billion cubic meters of gas. The project builds on the Nord Stream project, a pipeline installed through the Baltic Sea in 2011 and 2012. The consortium consists of Gazprom, Uniper, BASF SE/Wintershall, Royal Dutch Shell, OMV AG and Engie. Its members signed a shareholders’ agreement on the implementation of the pipeline project in September of last year.

Atlas said on Friday that the service agreement with the consortium will see the company supply offshore vessel representatives for survey vessels on the project. The company added that the service agreement will last until the end of 2018. Atlas’ team based in Exeter, UK is one of the company’s specialized offices that provides the expertise in the discipline of offshore management & QC.

NEW YORK (Bloomberg) -- Southwestern Energy Co.’s revival of its dormant drilling program may be the beginning of the end for the U.S. natural gas rally.

The explorer’s plan to operate five rigs by the end of September will unleash more supply from shale basins, threatening the recovery, according to Bloomberg Intelligence. Southwestern had halted drilling for the first half of the year as the company sought to strengthen its balance sheet, recently returning a single rig to northeast Appalachia.

Southwestern’s drilling restart “may pressure supply-demand balances and threaten the nascent price recovery,” Piazza said in a note to clients Friday, calling Southwestern’s revised guidance "an ominous sign for natural gas market fundamentals."

PARIS -- Total has signed a binding Heads of Agreement with Chugoku Electric for the direct supply of LNG for a period of 17 years starting from 2019. Under the agreement, Total will supply Chugoku Electric with up to 0.4 million tons of LNG per year from the company’s global portfolio.

“This supply agreement with one of Japan’s major regional electric utilities is an important milestone for Total in the country where the Group has been a reliable partner in supplying LNG for almost 40 years,” Laurent Vivier, president of gas at Total, said. “Strengthening our presence in Japan, the world’s largest LNG importer, through long-term cooperation with leading LNG buyers, such as Chugoku Electric, is a key component of Total’s strategy.”

CALGARY, Alberta (Bloomberg) -- Precision Drilling Corp. is eyeing growth in Kuwait and other Middle Eastern countries once crude prices recover as a way to reduce dependency on North American markets, CEO Kevin Neveu said.

The Canadian oil-service provider will have five rigs operating in Kuwait by the end of the year, Neveu said in an interview with Pamela Ritchie on Bloomberg TV. The equipment deployed there will generate about three times as much revenue as rigs in North America, he said. But the expansion will have to wait until crude prices, currently hovering around $45/bbl, rise further.

“Long term we see Kuwait as a good growth market” with between 10 to 15 rigs in operation for the company, he said. Other markets with opportunities for expansion include Saudi Arabia and Kurdistan, he added. “At $45, it’s just not good enough” to see growth in those markets.

Precision Drilling has scaled back its operations as customers reduced spending in the past year. The company is currently operating 60 rigs and could boost that number to 150 with “virtually” no new capital spending as a recovery takes hold, he said.

The company on Thursday said its loss widened to C$57.7 million ($44 million), or 20 cents a share, in the second quarter, from C$29.8 million, or 10 cents, in the year-earlier period. Revenue fell 51% to about C$164 million. The shares fell 4.6% to C$5.87 at the close in Toronto.
