背景介绍

Orakzai E.L (3369-1) having an area of 1708.04 sq km is located in Kurram & Orakzai
Agencies (FATA) and District Hangu of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province. The block falls
in Prospectively Zone I.

Tectonically, the block area is located in Kalachitta-Parachinnar Fold Belt, a part of
Himalayan Fold and Thrust Belt on the western margin of the Indian Plate. MBT &
Kurram fault run through the block.

The area is characterized by folds and faults oriented in NW-SE direction, related with
the compression due to the Himalayan orogeny initiated in the Middle to Late Eocene
times. The area experienced the implaces of transpression along Kurram Fault which is
present in southwest direction of the block.

To be eligible for award of contract, bidders shall have to provide satisfactory evidence to OGDCL of their eligibility, capability and adequacy to carry out the contract effectively up to the end. All bids submitted shall include updates of the information on technical capability and firm’s history that includes experience, list of similar projects carried out as per requirement of the Scope of work / TOR
