Cooper Basin focused oil & gas exploration company, Real Energy Corporation Limited (ASX:RLE), advises that the Company has successfully concluded the re-completion operations at Tamarama-1 well.
The latest intervention involved removal of the existing tubing, and re-entering the lower diversion assemblies with a small drill to mechanically remove the blockage in the tubing string. The well has now completed with a production tubing string and the post-frac flow back operation has resumed.
The well is currently free flowing back the frac fluids at an estimated fluid rate of approximately 300 barrels per day through a 3/8′ choke with reported increasing gas influx. It is anticipated that it will take several days to recover a significant volume of frac fluids injected into the reservoirs during the 5-stage fracture stimulation.
The flow test with measurement of gas rates will immediately commence at the conclusion of the flow back period. The Company will report the flow test results to the market as soon as they become available.
