Salameh, a professor of energy economics at ESCP Europe. That will happen as Saudi Arabia is keen to push oil prices above $80/barrel to balance its budget, he says. The current production cut agreement of 1.2 million barrels/day is due to expire in June. Its members are meeting in Baku, Azerbaijan this weekend to review adherence to the cuts and discuss next steps.
