Net profit for the October-December period declined to 14.32 billion ringgit (US$3.5 billion) from MYR18.21 billion the same quarter a year ago, the company said in its financial statement. Quarterly revenue, however, rose 13% to MYR69.90 billion ringgit from MYR61.79 billion a year earlier, mainly due to impact of higher average realized prices for all of its key products, according to notes accompanying the financial statement.
