Estimates compiled Tuesday from 11 analysts and traders surveyed showed U.S. oil inventories are projected to have risen by 1.6 million barrels, on average, in the week ended March 1. Eight of the 11 analysts expect oil stockpiles to rise, while two expect a decline and one forecasts an unchanged reading from the previous week. Forecasts range from a decrease of 3 million barrels to an increase of 5.2 million barrels.
