Anadarko’s adjusted profit of 38 cents a share fell short of the 61 cents a share analysts expected, according to FactSet. Sales rose 14% to $3.35 billion, more than the $3.31 billion analysts targeted. Anadarko said its average daily sales volume of oil increased 11% in the fourth quarter, but the average selling price dropped to $49.86 a barrel from $56.32 a barrel.
