Among other things, the new law will look to restructure production sharing contracts which was earlier skewed heavily in favor of the previous military administration. The country is also expected to offer up to 18 onshore in coming months, Fitch says. Despite a litany of domestic and external risks, international and domestic oil and gas firms are keen on Myanmar.
