That as there’s increasing room to eschew longer-term contracts which were a hallmark of the sector’s early days, the consultancy adds. Still, demand for the clean-burning fuel is poised to continue surging. Wood Mackenzie estimates demand from just 7 of the world’s biggest buyers could quadruple by 2030.
