(NRP) on Monday said it agreed to sell VantaCore Partners LLC, its construction-aggregates business segment, to an affiliate of private-equity firm Sun Capital Partners Inc. for $205 million. The Houston natural-resource company said its exit from the construction-aggregates business will help accelerate the improvement of its capital structure. Natural Resource Partners reported revenue of $292.4 million and adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization of $170.5 million for the nine months ended Sept. 30. The construction-aggregates segment accounted for revenue of $104.4 million and adjusted Ebitda of $13 million for the period.
