World’s largest heavy oil congress & exhibition in Oman Leading heavy oil professionals will gather on Monday September 3rd in Muscat at the World Heavy Oil Congress & Exhibition (WHOC) to examine and deliberate how rapid innovation and technological advancements in the heavy oil sector are reshaping the future oil mix. Held at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Center, this year’s event will feature a two-day strategic conference and a three-day technical conference alongside a three-day international exhibition.
The strategic conference will kick off with a high level ministerial panel featuring His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Hamad Al Rumhy, Minister of Oil & Gas of the Sultanate of Oman, and His Excellency Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Oil of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The session will discuss means of accelerating progress through the diversification of resources and the heavy oil sector’s role as an engine for job creation, technological innovations, and disruptions.
