Ltd. (Borouge), a joint venture Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. (ADNOC) and Borealis AG, Vienna, has let a contract to a subsidiary of Maire Tecnimont SPA for work related to a project designed to expand production capacities at Borouge’s integrated polyolefins complex in Ruwais, UAE.
Tecnimont SPA will deliver engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services for a fifth polypropylene plant (PP5) at the site that will have a maximum production capacity of 480,000 tonnes/year, Maire Tecnimont said on July 13.
