Mozambique Rovuma Venture is a joint venture between Eni, Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM) and China National Petroleum Corp. set up to develop commercial gas production in the Area 4 Concession of the Rovuma basin, which straddles northern Mozambique and Tanzania. Eni said it expects the joint-venture partners to submit a final investment decision in 2019, while LNG production should start by 2024.
