TAQA’s capex in the first quarter of 2018 was 428 million dirhams and was self-funded by cash generated by the business, Mohammed al Ahbabi, acting chief financial officer, said on a conference call. TAQA, earlier on Thursday, reported a 43 percent rise in first quarter profit, boosted by higher crude oil prices.
