A roundup of 23 analysts by Vara Research predicts first-quarter earnings on a current-cost-of-supply basis–Shell’s equivalent of net income and an important company measure–of $5.28 billion. This would represent an increase of 48%. A total of 24 analysts forecast that Shell’s first-quarter dividend will be flat at $0.47 per share, according to Vara Research.
