石油圈中国石化新闻网讯 据普氏能源资讯网伦敦3月19日消息，卡塔尔石油公司首席执行长周一表示，公司预计在2023年底前开始从北方气田扩能项目中生产液化天然气（LNG），公司已经将陆上设施的前端工程和设计合同授予了日本千代田公司。
卡塔尔石油公司还在寻求与国际合作伙伴组建一家合资企业来实施去年7月首次宣布的北方气田扩能项目。
这个新项目将令卡塔尔的LNG产能从7700万吨/年提高至1亿吨/年。
这个项目的时间表设定为从宣布日期起的5-7年时间内完成。

State-owned Qatar Petroleum is also looking to form a joint venture with international partners to deliver the North Field expansion first announced in July last year. The new project will enable Doha to raise LNG production capacity from 77 million mt/year to 100 million mt/year. At the time, the timetable for the project was set at five to seven years from the date of the announcement.
