ADNOC CEO Sultan al-Jaber made the announcement at CERAWeek in Houston, but gave no further details on the blocks or when the bidding will take place.
These would be open for competitive bidding for both existing and new partners, ADNOC said in a statement.
ADNOC is currently in the midst of awarding new 45-year partnership stakes in its ADMA offshore concession, which accounts for about a quarter of the UAE’s total oil output and half its production from offshore fields.
