However, imports by Asia’s four main buyers remained below year ago levels for a fourth month in a row, the first time this has happened since Western sanctions against Tehran were lifted in January last year, leading to a surge in shipments. China, India, South Korea and Japan together imported 1.64 million barrels per day (bpd) last month, down 10.8 percent on a year ago, government and ship-tracking data showed.
