French oil major Total SA says it is entering a new phase of “profitable growth”. At its annual strategy day Monday, Total’s top executives said the company is still working to drive down costs and push the company’s break-even oil price to $30 a barrel, but it is also targeting an annual production growth of 5% a year. “Today we are in a more growing and ambitious mode,” CEO Patrick Pouyanne says.
