The monthly Drilling Productivity Report shows the number of drilled-but-uncompleted wells in US shale regions was estimated at 7,048 for last month, up 231 wells from a revised 6,817 in July. The report estimates oil production in shale regions will rise modestly to 6.1M bpd next month vs 6.0M this month, led by more output in western and southern Texas.
