西北欧高硫燃料油裂解降至近3个月低点

中国石化新闻网讯 据普氏能源资讯8月25日伦敦报道,标普全球普氏能源资讯的最新统计数据显示,由于作为船用燃料和发电原料的高硫燃料油的需求因夏季需求高峰已经过去而开始减弱,欧洲高硫燃料油裂解已降至近3个月低点。 一名交易商表示:“尤其是在中东,燃料油需求已从夏季高点回落。”他尤其指的是沙特阿拉伯的需求。中东地区的燃料油通常被用作发电原料,随着发电能力的提高以及空调需求的增加,这种燃料的消耗将会增加。 高硫燃料油需求不断下降的趋势也可以在巴基斯坦国家石油公司最近招标中看到,后者在9月份寻求交付5船高硫燃料油货物,比8月份减少了两船。巴基斯坦拥有大量的燃油发电能力。 如同在3个全球最大仓储中心库存构建中所显示的那样,来自航运业的需求也出现了回落。PJK咨询公司最新统计数据显示,在最近的一周里,在阿姆斯特丹-鹿特丹-安特卫普地区的燃料油库存量上升到了107.8万吨,这是该地区燃料油库存本季度第3次超过100万吨大关。 李峻 编译自 普氏能源资讯 原文如下: NWE high sulfur fuel oil cracks fall to near 3-month low as summer peak fades European high sulfur fuel oil cracks have fallen to a near three-month low as demand for high sulfur fuel oil, a bunker fuel and power generation feedstock, began to wane as peak summer demand has passed, S&P Global Platts data showed.
“Fuel demand is off from the summer highs, in the Middle East especially,” a trader said, pointing to demand from Saudi Arabia, in particular. Fuel oil in the region is typically used as a power generation feedstock, consumption which increases as temperature rise due to higher power generation to meet air conditioning demand.
The trend of declining HSFO demand can be seen also in the latest Pakistan State Oil, tenders, seeking delivery of five cargoes in September compared with seven in August. Pakistan has large oil-fired power generation capacity.
Demand from the shipping industry has fallen back too, as shown in the stock builds in the three largest bunkering hubs.
Fuel oil inventories in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp region rose to 1.078 million mt in the most recent week — topping 1 million mt for the third time this quarter, the latest data from PJK Consultancy showed.
