Noble said the sale of its Noble Americas Gas & Power Corp, along with the start of a formal process to sell its global oil liquids unit, will reinforce its focus on hard commodities including coal, freight and LNG.
“The Group will continue developing its strong domestic presence in Asian markets — such as in China, Indonesia, emerging Southeast Asia and other markets — while also maintaining its global footprint of strategic relationships,” Noble said. It added that it would focus on developing risk management and procurement services to end users, such as thermal coal-buying Independent Power Producers in Japan and India.
