By 2019, pipeline capacity between the US and Mexico should double as Mexico imports more natural gas. Exports of liquefied natural gas are also growing, and should grow from under 4M tonnes last year to about 9M this year, Pugh says. Capital Economics sees natural gas prices rising to $3.50/mmBtu by the end of the year.
