The last time the Singapore cracking margin against Dubai crude was any higher was February 27, 2017, when it stood at $5.13/b.
In the first four pricing days in July, the Singapore cracking margin against Dubai averaged $4.53/b, up from the average of $3.63/b for the same period in June.
The cracking margin for the whole month of June averaged $3.95/b.
Strength in the gasoil market was driven by firmer buying for the multi-purpose feedstock in the region.
The gasoil crack averaged $10.52/b in June.
