Special Oil Development Company of Liaohe Oilfield created profit of 900 million yuan by adopting the technology of separating associated gas

In 2015, Special Oil Development Company of Liaohe Oilfield started the project of separating associated gas with closing transportation. On January 27 of this year, the first period (methane recovery) officially put into operation. At present, all the associated gas of Special Oil Development Company were put into this device to separate and 40,000 m3 of methane could be recycled per day. The second period (reinjection of carbon dioxide) was selecting the wells and would be put into operation in April. A responsible person of oil production technology in Liaohe Oilfield said that associated gas had a high value in the internal production process. It would have a positive and effective demonstration effect for the industry of using associated gas in the oil production area if a new way of reducing cost and increasing profit was found in economical self-use.
