The complex, which is the largest such complex in the world will have 26 manufacturing plants that will produce a range of petrochemical products. Sadara is a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and the Dow Chemicals company of the US. “We are at the tail end of commissioning and will be ready by midyear of 2017,” Ziad Al Labban, CEO of Sadara chemical company told reporters at a petrochemicals conference in Abu Dhabi. The capacity of the plant is over 3 million metric tonnes per year.
