[Dow Jones] As Saudi Arabia looks to diversify its investment overseas, the kingdom is likely eyeing Asia’s refining sectors as regional demand for fuel is expected to remain robust, says a Singapore-based consultant for a Houston energy advisory company. “The Saudis are interested in buying refineries because this way they can have more influence in the crude market,” he says, adding the Saudis are also interested in Asia’s renewable energy sector.
