Xi Jinping signs a presidential order to issue “the deep seabed regional resource exploration and development law of People’s Republic of China “

No. 42 Presidential Order says: “the deep seabed regional resource exploration and development law of People’s Republic of China” has been passed by the nineteenth meeting of the Standing Committee of the Twelfth National People’s Congress of People’s Republic of China on February 26th, 2016. Now it is announced and will come into force since May 1st, 2016. The deep seabed area which the law calls refers to the seabed, ocean floor and its subsoil beyond the jurisdiction scope of the People’s Republic of China and other countries.
