石油圈中国石化新闻网讯 据路透社2月15日开罗报道，埃及国家天然气控股公司（EGAS）首席执行官穆罕默德•马斯里15日在开罗举行的一次石油会议上说，埃及希望本国的天然气市场将在2018年得到平衡并预计埃及在2020年前出口天然气。
马斯里还说，2018年将是埃及为国内市场进口天然气的最后一年。
由于国内天然气产量未能跟上不断增长的需求，埃及从一个出口能源的国家变成了一个能源净进口国。
马斯里说，英国石油公司的北亚历山德里亚气田时下正在快速开发中并将比计划提前6个月投产。

CAIRO – Egypt hopes its gas market will be balanced in 2018 and expects to begin exporting gas by 2020, EGAS chief Mohamed Al-Masry said on Wednesday at an oil conference in Cairo.
Al-Masry also said 2018 will be the last year for Egypt to import gas for the domestic market.
Egypt has gone from exporting energy to being a net importer as domestic output has failed to keep pace with rising demand.
Al-Masry said BP’s North Alexandria field is on a fast track and will be ahead of schedule by six months.
