Liaohe Oilfield of CNPC carries out three-dimensional gas injection development for special lithologic reservoir

It is known that the Liaohe Oilfield is carrying out three-dimensional gas-injection development tests for special lithologic reservoir in four blocks such as Xinggu7, Shen625. Over one year of continuous research, the current stage of increased oil production is 39,000 tons. Liaohe Oilfield experts say that with the further popularization and application of non-hydrocarbon gas drive, reduced oxygen air flooding, natural gas drive and other development methods, special lithologic reservoirs will unfreeze soon, which is expected to become a new growth point of Liaohe production. It is understood that in 2016 Liaohe will continue to expand experiments on the basis of the original four blocks, and add two test blocks of Dugu and Shugu buried hill. A total of 15 well groups will be planned implementation, covering the geological reserves of 27.13 million tons.
