Oil and gas wells often contain unwanted components along with the hydrocarbons; sand, scale, mud, etc. To keep production optimized, periodic intervention should be performed to remove this debris. Welltec’s clean-out solutions ensure access in new wells and bring producing wells back on-line fast and efficiently. Running on e-line, these modular tools have proven to be robust and effective in maintaining and restoring production across a diverse environments including horizontal wells.
Range of services
1.Removing sand and debris;
2.Cleaning SSSV seats;
3.Clearing obstructions;
4.Eliminating scale deposits;
5.Accessing isolation valves.
WELL CLEANER POWER SUCTION TOOL
The Well Cleaner Power Suction Tool (PST) is the ideal choice for removal of loose debris in the well. Using high-rate fluid circulation, the Well Cleaner? PST agitates the debris and captures it in bailers within the tool. A number of versions exist which allow for the most effective solution to the problem and environment encountered.
The Well Cleaner PST High Flow
The Well Cleaner PST High Flow (HF) maximizes the flow velocity output from the tool. This in turn allows for the longest bailer length and subsequently the highest debris recovery per trip.
The Well Cleaner PST High Vacuum
The Well Cleaner PST High Vacuum (HV) maximizes the drawdown force thereby increasing the ability to recover heavier pieces of debris.
The Well Cleaner PST Large Draw-down
The Well Cleaner PST Large Draw-down (LD) is an effective combination of the HV and HF versions. It is optimized to recover the largest payload over a wide range of debris sizes and types. The Well Cleaner? PST can be run independently in vertical wells or with the Well Tractor? to provide clean-out solutions in horizontal and extended reach wells.
WELL CLEANER WITH ROTATING HEADS
The Well Cleaner with Rotating Heads is designed specifically to remove deposits left on the walls or completion components in the well. Over time, these often lead to decreased production or malfunctioning hardware. The Well Cleaner’s different rotating heads remove these deposits to restore full functionality and production.
The Well Cleaner Wishbone Honer
The Well Cleaner Wishbone Honer (WBH) is designed to clean deposits from tubular walls over intervals where the internal diameter changes, such as mandrels and profiles.
The Well Cleaner Safety Valve Brush
The Well Cleaner Safety Valve Brush (SVB) is built to remove scale and debris build-up on subsurface safety valves, restoring the ability to maintain pressure integrity.
The Well Cleaner Dry Environment
The Well Cleaner Dry Environment (DE) is designed specifically for cleaning in dry environments. The auger at the tip loosens the debris and transports it into the bailer sections of the tool.
The Well Cleaner with rotating heads is run in combination with the Well Tractor? to apply weight-on-bit as necessary and to counter reactive torque.
WELL CLEANER REVERSE CIRCULATING BIT
The Well Cleaner Reverse Circulating Bit tool incorporates both a rotary system and a suction system that are combined for maximum efficiency. This design breaks down hard debris and recovers the cuttings to the surface in the same run.
The Well Cleaner Reverse Circulating Bit (RCB) effectively crushes mineral deposits like scale and cement, which are then captured in the integrated bailer system. It is the ideal solution for removal of temporary cement plugs or hard-packed bridges of deposits.
The Nozzle Brush
The Nozzle Brush can be used on the tool in place of the RCB to remove hard deposits from the walls of the tubulars and retrieve them simultaneously.
The Well Cleaner RCB tool is run in combination with the Well Tractor? to apply weight-on-bit as necessary and to counter reactive torque.
WELL MILLER FOR SCALE REMOVAL
The Well Miller for Scale Removal transforms the Well Miller? into a clean-out solution for removing accumulations which can’t be removed effectively with brushing.
The Full-bore Bit
The Full-bore Bit is ideal for attacking layers of scale that are severely reducing the ID and thus affecting production. It is designed to mill through substantial amounts of build-up and restore the tubular to full bore.
The Scale Core Bit
The Scale Core Bit is designed for shaving scale sheathes from the inner walls with diamond tipped finesse. With a tighter tolerance to the ID, it is a perfect solution for removal of scale patches over long intervals.
The Wire Bit
The Wire Bit is developed specifically for milling scale that has settled on or inside valves in the wellbore. It is built to attack scale in irregular holes, depressions and upsets in the wellbore.
Scale removal with the Well Miller is run in combination with the Well Tractor? to apply weight-on-bit as necessary and to counter reactive torque.
WELL CLEANER? DOWNHOLE JETTING TOOL
The Well Cleaner Downhole Jetting tool (DJT) is an efficient, e-line conveyed, surface controlled method for jetting fluid downhole. Its innovative design creates quickly a large diameter hole in hydrate or wax plugs. Carrying fluids downhole, it can potentially remove scale bridges using organic acids. Alternatively, it can be used as a fluid sampling tool and in conjunction with a Well Tractor it can operate in horizontal or highly deviated wells.
With its modular design and configurable nozzles, the Well Cleaner DJT can be used for a variety of downhole spotting and jet cleaning applications. Made of NACE-compliant materials, it can e.g. be used for spotting organic acids to remove scale or clean downhole equipment for debris. As it works with any typical well fluids, it is a universal cleaning platform and can be used in any liquid environment.
Being deployed on e-line, the Well Cleaner? DJT eliminates the need to bullhead cleaning fluids into the well when having to clean up or chemically treat parts of a well. This reduces the need for post-operation clean-up and flaring of the well and requires only a minimal operational spread at surface, making it safer and more cost efficient to deploy. As the tool can carry up to 1/2 bbl in each run, chemical treatments can be done safely without the need for injecting large volumes of fluid, damaging the well and reservoir.
