The Norwegian oil-and-gas major posted a net profit of $3.37 billion compared with $2.58 billion a year earlier, while revenue rose 27% to $21.72 billion. Analysts polled by FactSet had expected net profit of $1.74 billion on revenue of $19.19 billion. Adjusted earnings rose 11% to $4.39 billion against expectations of $4.86 billion. Equinor delivered total equity production of 2.17 million barrels of oil equivalent a day in the fourth quarter, an increase from 2.13 million in the same period in 2017.
