The Russian oil-and-gas company said profit for the three months ended Sept. 30 rose to 183.4 billion rubles ($2.74 billion), from RUB97.3 billion in the year-earlier period. Revenue for the third quarter rose 56% to RUB2.31 trillion, Lukoil said. Total production during the third quarter rose to 2.4 million barrels of oil equivalent a day, up from 2.3 million barrels in the second quarter of the year, driven by higher oil production in Russia.
