However, production by Novatel and Rosneft in Russia stagnated in 2017. Both of those companies’ production is expected to start to tick up, which should free up more of Gazprom’s gas for exports to Europe and elsewhere, Mr. Henderson added. Total Russian gas exports came to 225bcm in 2017.
