Middle East Crude-Benchmarks slip to lowest in more than 1 week The Middle East crude benchmarks slipped to their lowest premiums against Dubai swaps in more than one week on Tuesday, extending losses for a second session. Most of the refiners have completed their purchases for this month while Brent, which hit the highest since end-2014 on Tuesday, has dampened Asia’s appetite for incremental supplies. Brent’s premium to Dubai crude also rose to $4.47 a barrel on Tuesday, the highest since January 2016. The wider price spread may support spot premiums for the remaining Russian ESPO crude that are due to be sold this week. So far, June-loading ESPO cargoes have sold at premiums of $3.10-$3.50 a barrel. Rosneft has sold a June-loading cargo of ESPO crude to ChemChina at $3.45 a barrel above Dubai quotes, traders said.
