Egdon said it will submit a new application before the current planning consent expires, addressing the reasons behind the local authority’s dismissal of the appeal. The oil-and-gas company said it will also seek to extend its current planning consent, which expires on April 28. Egdon is the operator of Wressle and owns a 25% stake in the oil field along with Celtique Energie Petroleum Ltd. with 30%, Europa Oil & Gas PLC (EOG.LN) with 30%, and Union Jack Oil PLC (UJO.LN) with 15%.
