Natural Gas Company realized the operation of LNG storage tank independently and successfully

As the first LNG project of Sinopec, Shandong LNG project tried the operation of first phase successfully in November, 2014. By now, three LNG storage tanks has been put into use. In order to meet the increasing storage demand of overseas natural gas, a 160000 cubic meters of LNG storage tank was added in the first phase of Shandong LNG project and was to be used in the middle of June, 2015. With the mature of condition, Qingdao LNG receiving station of Natural Gas Company embarked on the operation of the fourth LNG storage tank from the November, 2015. The fourth LNG storage tank achieved success in the first operation after more than five months of efforts.
