Speaking at a press conference, director and senior vice president Katsuyuki Ota said its accumulated margins for gasoline, kerosene, gasoil and A-fuel oil — a blend of gasoil and fuel oil in a 90:10 ratio — are estimated to have improved by Yen 1/liter year on year in the quarter.
Ota said gasoline was among the products that contributed most to the Yen 1/l improved margin, which accounted for more than half of the Yen 20 billion improvements in oil products margins.
JXTG Holdings was established April 1 following the merger of JX Holdings and TonenGeneral and has a combined refining capacity of 1.93 million b/d across 11 refineries in Japan and oil and gas equity production of 130,000 boe/d.
