CENAGAS declared void the CFE’s first-ever annual auction on July 10 due to a lack of participation for 2.2 Bcf/d of capacity carrying gas from Waha, Texas, into the northern bordering state of Chihuahua.
David Madero, CENAGAS’ general director, said late Friday that companies expressed interest for the capacity the first time it was auctioned, but they didn’t register to bid.
