Bamidele Odugbesan, spokesman for the Shell Petroleum Development Co. of Nigeria, or SPDC, said the pipeline was shut on July 21. “Efforts are ongoing for a joint investigation visit to determine the cause of the leak and repair of the pipeline,” he said.
