A survey of analysts by The Wall Street Journal showed an expected 3.2 million-bbl decline in the EIA report. US crude refinery inputs averaged 17.2 million b/d, up 103,000 b/d from the previous week’s average. Refineries operated at 94.5% of their operable capacity. US crude imports averaged 7.6 million b/d, down 132,000 b/d from the previous week’s average.
