中国石化新闻网讯据道琼斯2月27日消息,受船只供应过剩冲击市场的影响,LNG运输船舶的运费率下降至2010年以来的最低水平。当前LNG运输船舶的日运费率平均为3万美元,只有盈亏平衡点的约一半,从而迫使物主大面积的闲置船舶。新加坡经纪商表示,大西洋盆地至少有20艘LNG运输船舶等待雇用,另外有25艘LNG运输船舶已经闲置。一位经纪商表示:“市场现在极度低迷,运输船舶太多,而需求不足,预计今年第四季度前不会好转。同时亚洲和欧洲LNG价格差距的逐渐缩小在过去的两年中已经令长距离运输的量减少了近一半,这对船舶使用率造成了严重的冲击。”

Liquified Natural Gas carrier freight rates fall to their lowest since 2010 as an oversupply of ships takes its toll on the market. Daily sport raters average $30,000, about half the break even level, forcing owners to idle ships en masse. Singapore brokers say at least 20 ships are waiting for employment in the Atlantic basin on top of another 25 that have been laid up. “It’s a very grim market — too many ships and not enough demand — and it won’t get better until the fourth quarter of this year,” one broker says, adding that growing convergence between Asian and European LNG prices has nearly halved long-distance sailings over the past two years, dealing a serious blow to vessel utilization rates.
